- At all times treat clients with care, courtesy, respect and consideration
- During driving lesson time, there should be no physical contact with a client, except in an emergency situation
- Telephone calls/text messages for both parties should be made at a reasonable time of day e.g. 8am-8pm approx. unless urgent
- Driving school car must be kept clean and tidy inside and outside
- Good time keeping is essential and the driving instructor must advise client if late
- Ensure full duration of driving lesson is given
- Dress code - clean, tidy and smart
- Each lesson is for paying client only, there are no lifts for other clients between lessons
On/before the 1st driving lesson, the driving instructor should provide clients with a written copy of their terms & conditions of business to include:
- Full details of driving instructor
- Price
- Duration of driving lessons
- The terms under which cancellations apply either by the driving instructor or client complaints procedure.
